Living Room as it looked prior to construction

This is a view of the Living Room (walls 1 and 2) taken from the bottom of the staircase. Notice the multi color paneling and ceiling tiles as well as the leather chair.

Living Room during the demolition period

This picture taken from wall 3 shows my friend Ed taking down the first piece of paneling. It also shows how wall 4 (windows) looked prior to the remodeling A shot of wall 1and 2 after the paneling has come down. Walls 2 and 3 held up pretty good. Here they are without the paneling. As I take the picture, Ed admires our demolition skills.
View of wall 3 and 4 taking from the Dinning room. This is just after we pulled the carpet up. (Honestly I did more than just take pictures... as Ed continues to work :) ) Wall 4 without one piece of paneling. and the window sheers. Wall 4 after all the paneling. came down. Now you can see clear out the window onto Melrose Ave. Those ceiling tiles are still up!

2004

Once again, the kitchen upgrade effects other rooms. Since the closet is being removed between the dining room and kitchen, new homes for everything in that closet needed to be found.

A new coat rack was installed at the foot of the staircase by the front door. This was necessary as the closet is no more. Above the coat rack is a shelf and a picture collage of who else (my newphew Dylan).
