Golden Roll Productions brings back to life the story of the 1981 TBAA Cyclones soccer team. The Cyclones (8-1-1) began the season with two straight pre-season victories. The team was overconfident as they went into their final scrimmage against an older more experienced Atco team. On that chilly autumn night, the Cyclones were not only beaten, but also embarrassed as they lost 15-0. That reality check helped this team to get off to an 8 game winning streak blasting such opponents as the Flacons, Cannonballs and Raiders. Going into the ninth week of the season, the winning streak ended as the Cyclones tied the rival Charges at a goal each. With 17 overall standing points, the Cyclones remained one point ahead of the Bulldogs when they met in the season finale. The Cyclones needed only a tie to capture the championship since they beat the Bulldogs earlier in the season. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs shut out the Cyclones 4-0 and captured the title.
