An experimental piece for Golden Roll Productions. The new subsidiary
film company "Fantasy Films" releases short films in which anyone
can be their favorite film character. After a two year absence, Fantasy Films
follows up the smah hit Star Wars
with this scene from Tombstone. In this scene, Doc Holiday (Ross
Nilan ) finds himself in an old west shoot out with Johnny
Ringo, a man he has unfinished business with.
Ross
Nilan (Star Trek,
Searching For A Glory)
approached Golden Roll Productions after a loy of talk had surfaced about
Scott
Wilkinson's Star Wars creation. The scene was choosen as
it was one of Nilan's favorites and he thought he could do a decent job in
it. If you look closely, you'll notice that the set used was also used in
Star Trek: Fool's Gambit. There
are some good sound edits in this piece along with the first attempt at filming
in extreme close-ups. On the negative side of things, there is a slight problem
with continuity.
This film is appropriate for all audiences
