Friends thank you for investing your time visiting my Social Vibe page in supporting the Whaleman Foundation.

The Whaleman Foundation is a public IRS 501 (c) (3) non-profit research, education, conservation, and wildlife film production organization dedicated to preserving and protecting our ocean world. Whaleman's primary mission is to educate key decision makers, while raising public awareness, on the issues that affect cetaceans (dolphins, whales & porpoises) and their critical habitats through our films, research, campaigns, and media outreach.

Over the past couple of weeks, I have "tweeted" with Hayden a lot on many topics including family and causes we are passionate about. The more I get to know her as a person, the more I have come to admire her passion for this project. This is not a celebrity endorsement but rather a person with a belief and doing something with her celebrity to reach many people and I'm proud to support her. Now most of you wont create a web page to carry on the message like me, but you can support the the Whaleman Foundation, Hayden and myself by simply signing the petition and spreading the word as well. Thank you again.

Peter Heller spent two months at sea aboard the eco-pirate ship Farley Mowat as it hunted down the Japanese whaling fleet in the ice and storms of Antarctica. The book is a wild high seas adventure set against the backdrop of brutal commercial whaling and an ocean in peril.

This is the book that inspired me to learn more about this issue and become active in spreading the word. I have been fortunate to have met and worked with so many compassionate people that share the same beliefs that I have.

Although my twitter conversations are personal, I wanted to share this one very special reply from Hayden. This reply was in response to creating this page to help support her cause. I am becoming very active with it now as well. I know she visits this page (and my web site) so I wanted to publicly thank her for her support and also for spreading awareness on this issue.

1. Write the Japanese Prime Minister, Yasuo Fukuda, and tell him you will not purchase any Japanese products or visit Japan until they stop killing and capturing dolphins and whales or "Click Here to compose and send your message" directly to the Japanese Prime minister Yasuo Fukuda

2. Contact President Obama and let him know that you want the US to use its sanctioning powers available under the Pelly Amendment against Japan, Norway, and Iceland until they stop whaling.

5. Do not support or visit any marine park, zoo, or amusement park that has captive dolphins and whales.
