Instagram Post: (1) I'm doing it! Looking for #fireworks #2016 starting on my bike #biking #FightForIt #FitDontQuit (2) #HappyNewYear2016 from a boy & his bike! #fireworks #biking #2016 #FitDontQuit #FightForIt (3) I literally started #2016 off on my bike! Went #biking around the neighborhoods looking at all the local #fireworks celebrations and put in 8.5 miles as well. My second #MidnightMadness #biking activity & I really enjoy them. A neighbor having a party was yelling #HappyNewYear to me as I was biking down the trail haha. Nice way to kick off the New Year!

Instagram Post: 30 miles #biking on the #recumbentbike today & then an off day of #walking at work. Just finished my 8th straight work day & im drained. Looking forward to a day off tomorrow to clear my mind & hopefully that gets me back into the #fitness mojo #FitDontQuit #FightForIt #10000steps

Today's adventure was Gloucester Township Health & Wellness Trail
+ surrounding neighborhoods and Swimming

The day started with some swimming. 2150 yards. It was actually a nice February day so I took the bike out. I really haven't been outside on a bike in a month so this was long overdue. I felt bad after swimming and tired after biking. All things considered though, it felt great getting back to the basics and biking again. Its what started me on this journey and my true passion.

Instagram Post: Started my day in the pool #swimming 2150 yards then just finished 16 miles of actual outdoor #biking It was a bit rough but felt greet actually riding the bike instead of the #recumbentbike for a change. #FightForIt #FitDontQuit

Instagram Post: 8200 steps at work today. Snow in the forecast so I headed to the Y to get in some laps in the pool. 2600 yards of #swimming I don't exercise without music so kudos to @audioflood Music makes the time go by faster! #10000steps #FightForIt #FitDontQuit #Audioflood

Instagram Post: It's been a while since I posted a #biking picture but with today's beautiful weather I was out there riding. 23 miles around town. Actually wore shorts today. It's time to officially start using the #SeaGullCentury2016 & #seagullcenturytraining hashtags. Much more on this later. Felt good to ride a bike & not the #recumbentbike #FightForIt #FitDontQuit #LLLR

This ride was about exploring communities in neighboring towns. In this case, Washington Township. It was about exploring areas so close to my home that I just never knew it was there. These neighborhoods provided a flat terrain but also had plenty of resistance as a result of multiple hills. While I biked through some of these areas before, certain places like Egg Harbor Road, I have never biked on before. It goes to my own personal goal of exploring at least one new road on each ride. This ride was a lot of fun.
