does. And "The
Ward"
is no exception, as Carpenter heads inside a mental institution
for the story of a girl (Heard) terrorized by a ghost.

Thus far we've gotten the theatrical and VOD release dates
for John Carpenter's latest tale of terror and mayhem,
The
Ward,
and just when you think you've seen it all - Boom - the
home video date has clawed its way online as well! John
Carpenter's The Ward will be available on VOD on June
8th, 2011, and in theatres July 8th, 2011. Would rather
hold out for the DVD or Blu-ray? You'll find it in stores
on August 16th.

Ward' Secures U.S. Distribution: No Theatrical
Release Date Set It looks like the wait is over for those
in the U.S., as John Carpenter's latest movie (and first
feature since the late 90s) The Ward has been snagged
for U.S. distribution via Arc Entertainment and XLrator
Media. According to Deadline London, the partners will
take on distribution duties in the U.S.
